The Cool Planet Experience is a fun, interactive climate action experience – the first of it’s kind in the world! Based within the beautiful Powerscourt House & Gardens, you can immerse yourself in the story of Ireland’s changing climate, the science behind it & discover some wonderfully innovative ( & high tech) ways to reduce your carbon footprint.
Each visitor calculates their personal carbon footprint, the information is downloaded into a wristband, and as they go through the various rooms they experience the exhibition in a very personal way. The centre appeals to all ages and many of our visitors have described the experience as life changing. Connecting science, engineering, gaming and drama, the centre is the first of ten that are planned to open around the world over the next three years, with plans already in place for centres in Dubai and Sydney.
